Cum fratre Levi, Sichemitas perdidit: Gen. 34. v. 25. 30. et c. 49. v. 5. in tantum filios et nepotes suos propagavit, ut de tribu eius, ad montem Sinai, numerati et inventi sint viri apti ad pugnam 59. milia trecenti, quibus om nibus in deserto mortuis, ipsorum filii bellatores 22. milia ducenti in terra promissionis, proprium funiculum non sunt consequuti, sed pro hereditate ac possessione sua obtinuerunt de terra tribui Iuda prius assignata, cis Iordanem, terram Australem.
